FOXTROT

The Foxtrot started many years ago from the Vaudeville days.  It was named for a Vaudeville stage star by the name of Jimmy Fox who would come out trotting on the dance floor to greet the audience.  His little trot on the stage is how the name Foxtrot got started.  The Foxtrot can be done to a wide variety of music and is a very popular dance.
