FOXTROT

The Foxtrot started many years ago from the Vaudeville days. It was named for a Vaudeville stage star by the name of Jimmy Fox who would come out trotting on the dance floor to greet the audience. His little trot on the stage is how the name Foxtrot got started. The Foxtrot can be done to a wide variety of music and is a very popular dance.

AMERICAN STYLE RUMBA

The Rumba started in Cuba many years ago and is their national dance. It’s one of the most beautiful of the Latin dances and one of the easiest dances to learn.

AMERICAN STYLE CHA-CHA

The American Style Cha-Cha is a fun dance. Everybody loves the movements of the hips and feet to the Latin music. It’s been a favorite for many years.

SWEETHEART SWAY

This is a dance that started inCalifornia and is unique in that you don’t see a lot of it. The Sweetheart Sway is made up by taking steps from the Tango, the Bolero., the Rumba, the Merengue and other dances. The basic step is very simple to do but includes many more challenging and beautiful steps as you advance.

EAST COAST SWING

The East Coast Swing is so much fun that when you start dancing, you don’t want the music to stop. It gives you a happy feeling and has been loved by many generations!

AMERICAN WALTZ

The Waltz is a beautiful, graceful and flowing dance that has been enjoyed for years and is a lot of fun to perform.

Singles and couples of all ages are welcome!

A dance partner is NOT required to take dance lessons
